SEG Solar at Intersolar North America 2026: Event Highlights and Strategic Insights
From February 18 to 20, 2026, Intersolar & Energy Storage North America 2026 was held in San Diego, California. SEG Solar (“SEG”), a leading U.S. photovoltaic module manufacturer, showcased its latest technologies and products at Booth 3227, presenting advanced solutions that attracted broad attention from customers, industry professionals, and exhibition visitors.

At the exhibition, SEG highlighted its flagship photovoltaic module portfolio, the ALPINE N Series. Designed for commercial, residential, and utility-scale applications, the series combines high durability with strong power performance. Based on n-type bifacial technology, ALPINE N modules deliver power output of up to 725 W with conversion efficiency reaching 23.34%, while maintaining stable energy generation under high-temperature and low-irradiance conditions. The series is backed by a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year performance guarantee, supporting long-term reliability and reduced operating and maintenance costs.

Alongside its product showcase, Jim Wood, Chief Executive Officer of SEG Solar, was invited by SunCast to participate in its on-site panel discussion titled “The Growing C&I Opportunity – 2026 Perspective.” During the session, he shared insights into current industry dynamics and the long-term development trajectory of the photovoltaic sector.

Jim Wood stated: “The slower progress of the C&I segment is not an isolated or market-specific phenomenon. As the global photovoltaic industry undergoes cyclical adjustments, such periods highlight the importance of an unwavering long-term strategy. Companies that continue to invest in innovation, operational efficiency, and global development will be better positioned to deliver stable and efficient energy solutions for the next phase of growth.”

Reflecting this strategic approach, SEG’s photovoltaic modules drew strong interest for their combination of high efficiency, high power output, and competitive cost structure. To support these product advantages, SEG has adopted a vertically integrated manufacturing strategy, strengthening its core module manufacturing capabilities while systematically expanding upstream into ingot and wafer production and downstream into energy storage. In parallel, SEG is advancing the establishment of its first photovoltaic research and development center, focused on next-generation photovoltaic technologies and accelerating the transition of advanced innovations into scalable manufacturing. Together, this end-to-end integration enables tighter control over product quality, manufacturing consistency, and cost efficiency, reinforcing SEG’s ability to deliver high-performance and cost-effective solar solutions across diverse application scenarios.

Building on the exchanges and insights gained during Intersolar North America 2026, SEG will continue to advance technological innovation and manufacturing capacity expansion in line with its long-term integrated strategy. Through continued investment across the value chain, the company aims to support the scalable deployment of reliable solar technologies and contribute to the sustainable, high-quality growth of the global clean energy sector.
