SEG Solar Showcases Local Manufacturing Strength at RE+ Texas 2026
From March 11 to 12, 2026, RE+ Texas—one of the premier clean energy industry events in the United States—was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. SEG Solar (“SEG”), a leading U.S. PV module manufacturer, presented its ALPINE N and YUKON N series modules at the exhibition, highlighting their advantages in high-efficiency power generation, reduced BOS and LCOE, enhanced returns for utility-scale projects, and long-term reliable performance.

At this year’s RE+ Texas, many panel discussions highlighted the rapid expansion of the Texas grid and the continued growth of solar installations across the state. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), Texas is expected to add 11.6 GW of new utility-scale solar capacity in 2025 and account for around 40% of all planned U.S. utility-scale solar additions in 2026, further reinforcing its position as one of the country’s most important solar markets.

To better serve Texas’ utility-scale solar market, SEG’s 2 GW smart module manufacturing factory in Houston is operating at full capacity, primarily producing FEOC-compliant YUKON N modules with up to 640 W and 22.90% efficiency, and ALPINE N modules with up to 725 W and 23.34% efficiency. Designed to deliver ultra-high power output and module efficiency across diverse application scenarios and complex environments, these products are well suited for large-scale solar projects in Texas. Currently, the Houston facility’s module production schedule for this year is nearly fully booked, with new orders expected to be delivered in the coming years.

As a company rooted in Texas, SEG highlighted not only its manufacturing strength and high-quality products, but also its long-term commitment to support local development. Beyond manufacturing, SEG remains active in community development across Texas. For two consecutive years, the company has supported the Cy-Fair Fire Department (CFFD) Community Blood Drive, helping promote local public health awareness. SEG also supports education initiatives such as the Smith Middle School Color Run and Copeland Elementary’s Bubble Run, encouraging student participation and community engagement. In addition, SEG donated a 10 kW solar system to Refuge for Women of North Texas to help support vulnerable communities. Through these initiatives, SEG continues to demonstrate its long-term commitment to supporting Texas communities.

RE+ Texas provided a valuable platform for SEG to connect with industry partners and explore new collaboration opportunities in the rapidly evolving solar market. As the U.S. energy transition accelerates, SEG remains committed to advancing solar innovation and supporting a more resilient and sustainable energy future.
